We are proud to partner with non-profits and bring the equine world to those who are serving others.

Our Horses Helping Humans program utilizes the Wellspring Thoroughbreds that are seeking a new start here at Silver Spur Ranch. Wellspring Thoroughbreds works to identify, retrain, and re-home off-the-track Thoroughbreds (OTTB) into secondary careers as top hunters, jumpers, and equitation athletes.

Much like those serving in the military and first responders, these thoroughbreds come from a world that is based on rigid training, precise execution, and peak performance at all times.

It is a privilege and honor to share our horses with those who give so much.

All work is on the ground and no prior horse experience is required.

Step out of the office, the boardroom, or the ballroom, and come join us for a day of self-reflection. Whether looking to encourage collaboration amongst the team, dive deeper into leadership styles, or reflect on each person’s strengths we are here to help.

A typical day includes guided meditation, catered lunch, groundwork with the horses, and tying in feedback from groundwork sessions into team dynamics, leadership styles, or individual problem-solving strengths and weaknesses.

1:1 Coaching

In this era of non-stop motion finding stillness is tough. Even when we schedule it in the form of a pedicure, a massage, or a dinner with friends our lives weigh heavy in the back of our minds. Carrying that weight means we are less than fully present.

The horses teach us to be wholly present, intentional, and engage in true partnership from the ground up.

In the words of one of our favorite mentors, Buck Brannaman “Horses are a mirror to your soul; sometimes you like what you see, sometimes you don’t.”

Here at Mirrored Equine we facilitate healing through the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method™ . The Equine Gestalt Coaching Method™ was developed by Melisa Pearce, a core founder since 1989 of the horse-human healing movement. The experiential nature of the method involves the horse as an active partner with the coach in the client’s exploratory process. The integrative approach of the equine’s interaction combined with positive coaching, somatic awareness guidance and Gestalt methodology, assists the client in examining their life and choices made with a focus on designing a positive future.
